Welcome!Welcome to G & C Quarter Horses. Our home is in the southeast part of Kansas in a little community called LeRoy. We are located about 1/2 way between Kansas City & Wichita, about 30 minutes South of I-35 or about 70 miles South of Topeka. We purchased our senior stallion "Frees King Hollywood" when he was 10 months old. He has a disposition second to none, is smart, and very willing to do what you ask. He is real square on all four with good feet and bone, speed, and agility. He stands 14.3 and weighs about 1150 lbs. As you can see in his pedigree, he is of the old time quarter horse blood. He is registered in 2 of the foundation registries FQHR & FQHA being 100% foundation in both. |
I really think that if this stallion could have been promoted, he would have been a major player in the performance world especially in cutting, reining, & working cow horse. But like some of you, our funds are limited too. King is siring some real pretty babies that are scattered from New York to California to Europe. New to our program is Lil Peppys Badger, a 2004 grullo son of NRHA Derby Champion Lil Peppys Sugar Bar. This colt is also a grandson of Peppy San Badger. If you wish to haul your mare, we can pasture breed or hand service which ever you prefer. We do not offer cooled shipped semen at this time. We are about 3 hours from the nearest facility and my job simply doesn't allow me to be gone that long during the breeding season. However, we do offer frozen semen and have it on hand anytime you wish. Our goal is to produce quality foals to sell with good bloodlines, a trainable mind, and hopefully that beautiful grulla color. We try to make our customers our number one priority by keeping things simple and treat our customers the way we would want to be treated.
